Diferensiasi Leukosit Ikan Jambal Siam (Pangasius Hypophthalmus) Yang Terinfeksi Aeromonas Hydrophila Dan Diobati Dengan Pakan Mengandung Kurkumin
ABSTRACT
Curcumin is one of the natural ingredients that has the potential as an
antibacterial, because many contain essential oil compounds. This study aims to
obtain the best dose of the addition of curcumin mater ial C. domestika Vol into
the feed to treat P. hypopthalmus jambal siam fish infected with A. hydrophila
P1, P2, dan P3 fish infected with with MAS disease with A. hydrophila seen from
the total leucocytes, leucocytes differentiation, and phagocytic activity. The
method used is the Complete RandomIzed Design (RAL) experimental method
with one factor with 5 levels of treatment with three replays. The treatment is Kn
Negative control (without being given curcumin in feed and not infected with A.
hydrophilabacteria), Kp Positive control (without being given curcumin in feed,
infected with A. hydrophilabacteria), P1 Addition of curcumin in feed 0.7 g/kg,
P2 Addition of curcumin in feed 0.9 g/kg, P3 Addition of curcumin in feed 1.1
g/kg. P. hypophthalmus used measuring 8-12 cm as much as 150 heads. Fish
were reared for 14 days in a 40x30x30 cm aquarium with a stocking density of 1
fish/3 L of water. the results showed that the addition of curcumin in feed to treat
siamese jambal fish dose 1.1 g /kg can improve the health of P. hypophthalmus
seen from the average total leukocytes 14.18 × 104 cells / mm3, Lymphocytes
74.00%, Monocytes 9,67%, Neutrophils 16,33%), phagocytosis activity 33,33%,
exhalation rate 93.3%, Water quality during the study was temperature ranged
(27.2-29.70C), DO (4.2-5.4 ppm), pH (7-7.2), and ammonia (0.10-0.13 ppm).
