Perbedaan Rerata Neutrophil Lymphocyte Ratio (Nlr) Pada Preeklampsia Dengan Kehamilan Normal Tesis
SUMMARY
ROMMY YORINDA PUTRA, NIM. 1810246536 Difference Mean Neutrophil
Lymphocyte Ratio (NLR) in Preeclampsia, supervised by Zulmaeta and Elda
Nazriati.
Preeclampsia is a pregnancy-specific syndrome characterized by the presence
of new-onset hypertension and proteinuria after 20 weeks' gestation in women who
previously had normal blood pressure. An exaggerated systemic inflammatory
response is believed to be the basis of the clinical manifestations of preeclampsia.
Markers of the systemic inflammatory response are changes in hematological values,
one of which is the neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio (NLR). This study aims to analyze
and examine the difference in the mean of NLR. This study is a retrospective analytic
study of all normal pregnant women and pregnant women with preeclampsia who were
treated at the Arifin Achmad Hospital between January 2020 to December 2021. The
variables studied were NLR levels and the severity of preeclampsia in the form of
normal, preeclampsia and preeclampsia with severe features.
The results showed that the highest NLR value was found in the preeclampsia group
with severe symptoms with an average of 10.05 and the lowest NLR value was found in
the normal pregnancy group with an average of 8.00. The results of the comparative
analysis conducted on the three groups obtained a p value of 0.01 so that it can be
concluded that there is a statistically significant difference in NLR between the three
groups.
