Traffic accidents are unexpected and unexpected events and there are causes. The thing that became an accident must be found and analyzed, so that corrective action can be taken against the cause and with further efforts the accident can be avoided and the cause of the accident. Accidents do not only cause trauma, injury, or death and death. The purpose of this study is to determine the profile of cases of victims who died due to traffic accidents examined at Bhayangkara Hospital Pekanbaru in 2017–2020 including the age and gender of the victim, the time of the incident the cause of death, and SPV sending police sector. This type of research is a retrospective descriptive study conducted with data obtained from examinations by observing those listed in the VeR of dead victims in 2017-2020 at Bhayangkara Hospital Pekanbaru. The results of this study indicate that there are 6 cases of death victims due to accidents in this period. The highest in 2017 was found 3 cases (50%). For sociodemography, which includes age, it is more common in adulthood (50%) and for gender, it all occurs in men (100%). The time of the incident often occurred on holidays (50%) and weekdays (50%). The cause of death based on autopsy results was mostly caused by head trauma (50%). The police sector that sends SPV mostly comes from outside the city of Pekanbaru (83%).
