Background : Rupture in the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), which can be caused by direct or indirect injuries, known as Isolated ACL injuries or accompanied by other ligament injuries. One of the complaints caused by ACL injury is life problems quality.
Objective: To find out the profile and general quality of life description of Isolated Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injured patients based on the Short Form (SF-12) questionnaire version Indonesian at Arifin Achmad Hospital Riau Period 2018-2020.
Methods: This research used a cross sectional method which was carried out at Arifin Achmad Hospital Riau from June 2021-October 2022.
Results: From the 10 patients assessed were 8 men (80%) and 2 women (20%), with an average age group the patient was 28.3 years (95% CI: 23.71-32.89) with a standard deviation of 6.4 years. It can be concluded that there was 95% believed that the average age in the population was between 23.71 years to 32.89, based on their work, such as non-athletes were 10 people (100%),based on the diseased side the right 6 (60%) and the left 4 (40%) while types of grafts hamstring grafts were 3 (30%) and Peroneus longus grafts are 7 (70%), based on caused the injury were sports activities as many as 7 people (70%) and daily activities 3 people (30%). The results of measuring the quality of life in general based on Short Form-12 (SF-12) were found there were good for 7 people (70%) and bad for 3 people (30%).
