Pengaruh Perendaman Ekstrak Daun Kersen (Muntingia Calabura) Dengan Dosis Berbeda Terhadap Daya Rekat Telur, Nilai Fertilitas, Daya Tetas, Pertumbuhan Dan Kelulushidupan Larva Ikan Baung (Hemibagrus Nemurus)
Abstract
Asian redtail catfish (Hemibagrus nemurus) is a freshwater fish commodity that
has the potential aquaculture commodity. The problem found was the inherent
nature of the egg so that it effects the hatchability so that an ingredient needed to
reduce the stickiness of Asian redtail catfish eggs, namely by soaking the eggs
using cherry leaf extract. Cherry leaf extract contains tannins which have
succeeded in reducing the stickiness of fish eggs. This research conducted from
June to July 2022 at the Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory, Department of
Aquaculture, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine. The research method used was
Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications that
is immersion eggs without cherry leaf extract (P0), immersion eggs with cherry
leaf extract using a dose (g/L), 3 (P1), 4 (P2) and 5 (P3). The best adhesion found
in treatment P3 with a dose of 5.0 g/L which had a yield of 20.22%, the best
treatment was found in treatment P2 with a dose of 4.0 g/L the degree of
fertilization produced was 87.42%. the eggs required to hatch are 22 hours 46
minutes, hatching rate was 87.94% and survival rate was 91.11%, absolute length
was 2.97 cm, absolute weight was 0.26 g and specific growth rate is 22.27%.
