Kesalahan Pemakaian Afiks Dalam Teks Eksposisi Siswa Kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu

This study describes and analyzes the errors in the use of affixes in the
exposition text of class X SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu. This research is a
qualitative research using descriptive analytical method, namely analyzing and
explaining the data found in the form of words. Data analysis techniques in this
study began with data reduction, presentation and conclusion and verification of
the data studied. The data collection technique used was the writing test technique
and the note taking technique. The source of the research data is the exposition
text of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hulu. Based on the research
results, it was found that affix usage errors consisted of prefix usage errors, infix
usage errors, suffix usage errors, confix usage errors and joining affix usage
errors. In addition, errors in the use of affixes are classified into, deletion of
phonemes in affixes, addition of phonemes in affixes, errors in writing affixes,
errors in writing affixes with prepositions, preservation of phonemes in basic
words, deletions of phonemes in base words, errors in affixes, omissions of
affixes and use inappropriate affix.
