Pengaruh Peran Guru PPKN Terhadap Sikap Nasionalisme Siswa Di SMP Negeri 3 Rangsang
This research is motivated by the role of the Civics teacher and the attitude of nationalism of students at SMP Negeri 3 Rangsang. There are several problems with student nationalism at Rangsang 3 Public Middle School, namely students do not attend ceremonies solemnly, students rarely use Indonesian in the school environment, students rarely want to play with friends of different ethnicities, and there are still several foreign products from Malaysia that are used. Therefore it really needs to be investigated whether the role of the Civics teacher influences the attitude of nationalism of students at SMP Negeri 3 Rangsang.
The formulation of the problem in this study is whether there is influence of the role of the Civics teacher on the attitude of nationalism of students at SMP Negeri 3 Rangsang. The purpose of this study was to find out whether there was an influence of the role of the Civics teacher on the nationalism of students at Rangsang 3 Public Middle School. The benefits of the research results are expected to be additional information and a source of knowledge for Civic Education teachers in improving students' nationalism, are expected to add references for researchers who wish to discuss and examine the same problem, and are expected to be able to contribute to the world of education related to written work. scientific knowledge about the influence of the role of the Civics teacher on students' nationalism.
This research method uses a quantitative descriptive method with a statistical approach. This study uses data collection techniques of observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire consisting of 28 statements. The population of this study were all students of SMP Negeri 3 Rangsang totaling 144 students and the sample was taken using a proportional sampling technique, namely 25% of the total population to 36 respondents to fill out the questionnaire.

Based on the research results, it was obtained about the effect of the role of the PPKn teacher on the attitude of nationalism of students at SMP Negeri 3 Rangsang. So it can be concluded that there is a positive influence between the Role of Civics Teachers on the attitude of nationalism of students at SMP Negeri 3 Rangsang. This can be proven by a simple linear regression analysis using SPSS, namely Ŷ = 32.378 + 0.435 X. The results of the equation above can be translated as a constant of 32.378 which means that the consistency value of the PPKn Teacher variable is 32.378 the regression coefficient X is 0.435 which states that the addition of 1% of the value The role of the PPKn Teacher, the attitude of student nationalism will increase by 0.435. The coefficient is positive, meaning that the role of the Civics teacher (X) has a positive effect on student nationalism (Y).
Whereas from the results of the t test obtained t_count of 2.076 and t_table of 2.03 which shows that t_count > t_table, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an influence of the Role of the Civics Teacher on Nationalism Attitudes of SMP N 3 Rangsang and from the results The calculation above obtained a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.112 which implies that the influence of the independent variable (Role of PPKn Teachers) on the dependent variable (Nationalism Attitude) is 11.2%. While 88.8% (100%-11.2%) is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
