This thesis discusses the Android-Based Ispring Suite Interactive Quiz in
Improving Learning OutcomesIPS in Junior High School. The problems that
occur in the research are backgrounded by the lack of student interest and student
understanding of the material, namely social studies delivered during learning,
one of which is influenced by the learning media used. The effort to give quizzes is
one way to train students to reflect on the newly taught material, thus helping
students build the ability to self-assess the level of understanding achieved, so that
it has an impact on student learning outcomes. With the rapid progress of the
development of information technology today, it can be used as a medium for the
purpose of successful learning. Like when doing quiz methods to make quizzes
look interesting and fun for students, teachers can use the application.
This study aims to produce interactive quiz media through an android-based
ispring suite with interesting features such as summaries, quiz answer keys, and
evaluations. This interactive quiz product developed contains a summary of the
material and practice questions consisting of all the materials of human activities
in meeting needs. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D)
development method with Rusdi's theory (2019) which includes 5 stages, namely
Analysis, Design, Development, and Implementation. Data collection was carried
out through 2 media experts and 2 material experts, as well as user responses
from 4 teachers and 51 junior high school students. Qualitative data are obtained
from initial observations and inputs from validators, for quantitative data are
obtained from questionnaires given to validators and user subjects. The results
showed that: 1) the validation results of media experts amounted to 83% of the
very decent category and material experts of 78.8% of the feasible category, 2)
the results of teacher and student user analysis seen from the assessment of media
and quiz materials suitable for use in social studies learning, and 3) interactive
quizzes through android-based ispring suites were declared to be able to improve
learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 1 Ukui and SMP Negeri 4 Ukui.
