Pengaruh Karakter Wirausaha Dan Literasi Keuangan Terhadap Motivasi Berwirausaha Siswa Melalui Lingkungan Sosial Siswa Di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) Se-Kecamatan Bangkinang Kota
Vocational High School as an educational institution that aims to prepare students to become competent and skilled workers in their fields. However, based on data obtained from interviews with teachers at SMKs in Bangkinang Kota District, it was stated that only 12% of SMK graduates chose to become entrepreneurs, the remaining 30.29% chose to work and the remaining 57.71% chose to continue their education to college. tall. This is due to the low motivation of students to entrepreneurship caused by several factors. There are several factors that influence students' entrepreneurial motivation, namely entrepreneurial character, financial literacy, and students' social environment.
This study aims to analyze the Effect of Entrepreneurial Character and Financial Literacy on Student Entrepreneurial Motivation Through the Social Environment of Students in Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Bangkinang Kota District. The research approach used was quantitative research, this research was conducted at Vocational High School 1 Bangkinang Kota and Vocational High School YPTN Bangkinang Kota. Quantitative data types are primary data sources, namely data obtained directly from the sources concerned through the distribution of research questionnaires on entrepreneurial motivation, entrepreneurial character, and students' social environment. In addition, this study also uses test questions to obtain data about students' financial literacy. The population in this study were 313 students and a sample of 175 students. Samples were obtained using proportional sampling. Data collection techniques in this study were questionnaires or questionnaires and test questions. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression analysis and path analysis.
The results showed: 1) Entrepreneurial character partially has a significant effect on entrepreneurial motivation in Vocational High School students in Bangkinang City. This means that the better the entrepreneurial character of students, the higher the motivation of students to become entrepreneurs, 2) Partial financial literacy has a significant effect on entrepreneurial motivation in Vocational High School students in Bangkinang City. This means that students' financial literacy is good, so the level of student entrepreneurship motivation will also increase, 3) Entrepreneurial character influences entrepreneurial motivation through the social environment of students in Vocational High Schools in Bangkinang City District. This means that the entrepreneurial character of students who are good and supported by a good social environment will increase students' entrepreneurial motivation, 4) Financial literacy influences entrepreneurial motivation through the social environment of students in Vocational High Schools in Bangkinang City District. This means that students' good financial literacy and supported by a good social environment will increase students' entrepreneurial motivation, 5) Entrepreneurial motivation is
