Penggunaan Bakteri Ecoplus Sebagai Alternatif Teknologi Pengolahan Limbah Lumpur Pengeboran Di CMTF Kotabatak
This study aimed to determine the effect of adding ecoplus bacteria, to analyze
the effectiveness of ecoplus bacteria on water and solids parameters in drilling
mud waste and to analyze the possible social and economic impacts that will
occur in the surrounding community if the utilization of processed solid waste at
CMTF Kotabatak is properly implemented. The study was conducted at the Siak
Regency PT PHR Seagull Office.
The research here is oriented to descriptive and laboratory-scale research.
The sampling technique uses systematic sampling where the first sample of
Drilling Mud Waste water is determined randomly. After that, samples taken later
are based on a certain interval. The samples taken were analyzed for pH,
temperature, COD, Oil & Grease, Phenol, Ammonia, Sulphide, TSS and TDS
after administration of ecoplus bacteria for five weeks. TCLP measurements were
carried out for the solid waste generated. Direct interviews with thirty
respondents to find out the opinion of the community regarding the possibility of a
socio-economic impact on the community. The data obtained were then analyzed
descriptively.
The results of this study concluded that the water parameters contained in the
drilling mud waste after the addition of ecoplus bacteria decreased and the results
of measuring the characteristics of toxic waste through the TCLP method showed
that the resulting solids had a value lower than the concentration of contaminants
so that it could be categorized as non-B3 waste. The effectiveness of reducing
COD parameters after the addition of ecoplus bacteria and aeration reached
66.15% TSS decrease to 56.75% and TDS decrease to 29.88%. The possible
socio-economic impact that occurs from the utilization of drilling mud waste as a
material for making brick blocks is the opening of new business opportunities and
broadening the community's experience in entrepreneurship. The economic level
of the community increases because the production costs for making bricks are
cheaper and the profits are getting bigger.
