Rancang Bangun Solar-Battery-Charger Berbasis Full-Bridge Converter Untuk Pengisian Muatan Baterai Asam Timbal
ABSTRACT
The ultimate goal of this project is to charge a lead acid battery with a solar panel voltage source. Battery charging is carried out through a DC-DC converter circuit with a full bridge topology, which functions to convert DC voltage to an adjustable DC voltage. To activate the DC-DC converter circuit, a control circuit is required, consisting of the SG3526 IC, which functions as a regulator for switching on the MOSFET. Besides that, the control circuit also functions as a regulator of the PWM signal sent to the MOSFET to adjust the pulse width and switching frequency. The control circuit gets a voltage supply from the power supply circuit. The current supplied to the battery is 2 amperes and 3 amperes; the battery charging time at 2 amperes is 225 minutes, while the battery charging time at 3 amperes is 186 minutes.
