Efektivitas Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Wordwall Dalam Meningkatkan Aktivitas Belajar Siswa Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi Di SMA PGRI Pekanbaru

Learning activities are the entire learning process activities carried out by teachers and students in the sense that each student learning process is required to be active in the way students are involved in the learning process, where learning activities can be seen from the indicators of learning activities, namely student enthusiasm in participating in learning, the ability to present tasks, the ability to express opinions, the ability to work together with classmates, the ability to ask questions, and the ability to answer questions. Based on the results of the pre-survey, it is known that there are several things such as students are less able to express opinions, students are less involved in learning, resulting in low student activity in learning from some students also stated that the low activity in learning is caused by the teacher's monotonous way of teaching without being equipped with using learning media.
This study aims to; 1) Increased student learning activities before and after the use of Wordwall-based learning media; 2) The effectiveness of the use of Wordwall-based learning media in increasing student learning activities. This research uses an experimental type of research, with theresearch essay used is One Group Pretest-posttest Design. The sample from this study was class X social studies students of SMA PGRI Pekanbaru. Data collection is carried out through the distribution of student learning activity questionnaires, student observation sheets, and teacher observation sheets. The results showed that there was an increase in the average learning activities of class X social studies students of SMA PGRI Pekanbaru after using Wordwall learning media. In addition, the use of Wordwall-based learning media is effective in increasing student learning activities in economics subjects of students X social studies at PGRI Pekanbaru High School.
