Efektivitas Penerapan Strategi Teams Games Tournament (TGT) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) Siswa SMP Islam As-Shofa Pekanbaru
This article is an experimental research that aims to examine the effectiveness of strategy team games tournament on students’ learning outcomes IPS student. The method used in the research with a one group pretest-postest design. The research Population were all VII grade student’s SMP Islam As-Shofa Pekanbaru. The research samples involved 24 seventh-grade students of SMP Islam As-Shofa Pekanbaru, with purposive sampling techniqu. Data collection techniques in this research were tests, observations and interviews. Instruments used to collect data were multiplechoice questions. Data were collected by using a test technique and then analyzed by using a sample paired t-test and t-test. Based on the calculation, it was obtained that sig 0,000 and t0 was 9,776 > 8,59. Obtained from the two calculations, which means that Ha was accepted. Thus, it could be concluded that strategy teams games tournament was effectively improving the students’ learning grade VII SMP Islam As-Shofa Pekanbaru.
