Hubungan Student Leisure Time Di Luar Jam Sekolah Terhadap Prestasi Belajar Pada Mata Pelajaran Sejarah Siswa Kelas XI IPS Di SMA N 1 Kuantan Mudik

The background of this research is that students at SMA N 1 Kuantan Mudik are
still not good at managing their leisure time after school, causing their learning
achievement to be disrupted. The problems studied in this study are: (1) Is there a
relationship between students' leisure time outside of school hours on student
achievement in history class XI IPS at SMA N 1 Kuantan Mudik? (2) Is there a
positive or negative relationship between student leisure time outside of school
hours on student achievement in history subject class XI IPS at SMA N 1 Kuantan
Mudik? (3) How big is the relationship between students' leisure time outside of
school hours on student achievement in history subjects in class XI IPS at SMA N
1 Kuantan Mudik? The method used in this study was distributing questionnaires
to respondents in class XI IPS SMA N 1 Kuantan Mudik, totaling 82 students as
well as observation data collection techniques, questionnaires/questions and
documentation. The data analysis technique used is the product moment
correlation technique and simple correlation analysis using the Leisure Time
Variable (X) and the Learning Achievement Variable (Y). The results of this study
indicate that (1) There is a relationship between Leisure Time and Learning
Achievement in history subjects where sig value (2-tailed) of 0.00
0.220). (3) The magnitude of the relationship obtained between leisure time on
student achievement in history subjects is 0.623 which shows a strong relationship
between the 2 variables and contributes 38.0% where the leisure time variable
influences learning achievement and the rest is influenced by factors other.
