Strategi Pemasaran Produk Tepung Sagu Di Pabrik Pak Tengho Desa Mekar Sari Kecamatan Merbau Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti
This study aims to find out how the Marketing Strategy for Sago Flour Products at Pak Tengho's Factory, Mekar Sari Village, Merbau District, Meranti Islands Regency. The population in this study were business owners and employees of Sago Flour Products at the Pak Tengho Factory. The method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive approach by means of interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis was performed using SWOT analysis. Based on the results of the research, the main strengths are the skills of the employees, the durability of sago, the large number of members, and the availability of raw materials. The main weaknesses are lack of promotional activities, limited business capital, packaging is still simple, the technology used is still simple, lack of market access. The main opportunities are increasing consumer interest, strategic geographical location, climate suitability, population growth, development of information technology. The main threat is the number of similar products, inadequate road conditions, the influence of globalization. There are five alternative strategies found, namely utilizing employee skills with the development of information technology, maintaining sago's durability to attract consumer interest, creating a brand of sago flour products that are different from competitors, utilizing collaboration with various parties to obtain funds and using social media to market products .
