Pengembangan Back-End Sistem Penilaian Seminar Akademik Berbasis Web Pada Jurusan Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik Universitas Riau
ABSTRACT
Currently, academic seminar within the Department of Electrical Engineering is still conducted manually, such as the Assessment of Practical Work (PW) seminar, Proposal Seminar and Thesis Seminar. The seminar was carried out by assessing the form. Then, the assessment sheet is approved by the Practical Work (PW) – Thesis Coordinator and Study Program Coordinator so that it can be input into the student academic portal. This process takes quite a long time, so digitization is needed, to create an information system that can simplify assessing seminars in the Department of Electrical Engineering.
The development method used in this study is a prototype. The first step taken was communication by conducting interviews with related parties. Then, quick planning and modeling quick design is carried out, namely making system design modeling. The next step is the construction of the prototype, which is making a prototype based on the model that has been made. The last stage is deployment delivery and feedback, where the system that has been built will be given to users for evaluation.
The system is built using the Laravel framework. The system was tested based on the functionality aspect using katalon studio, the reliability aspect using apache jmeter, the security aspect using qualys and the performance aspect using google pagespeed. The results of the tests that have been carried out indicate that the system can work properly.
