ABSTRACT
The world of education continues to grow, it's just that in certain places and areas in Riau Province, there are still limitations to access to learning tools and media that have not been evenly distributed, this of course affects the process of knowledge transfer in the field of education. Sliding book is an interactive learning book model based on mechanics and electronics or also known as a combination of Mechatronics. The Sliding book media tool comes from previous related research to reach equal distribution of educational media for potential areas in Riau Province. In this study, the design development of the Sliding book Learning Media Tool was carried out in the form of improving the control system implemented on the Arduino controller. The addition of this control system was in the form of remote IR and Photodiode sensors. It aims to design a control system that can be reprogrammed based on a microcontroller for Sliding book media tools with the Adding Syntax program method, this needs to be done and aims to develop a control system to work better on remote responses on the control system. The final result of this study relates to efforts to provide a more optimal type of control system for the Sliding book learning media tool. Data retrieval is carried out to test the control system, the data taken are in the form of voltage data, current data and also data on how long it takes to play Sliding book learning media once.
