Analisa Kebutuhan Daya Pembangkit Pv Berbasis Metode Dcam Dengan Menggunakan Converter Dc To Dc. (Studi Kasus Di Desa Alahair, Kec. Tebing Tinggi, Kepulauan Meranti)
ABSTRACT
The frequent power outages in Alahair Village result in disruption of community activities. To address this issue, a solar power plant was designed to meet the power needs of Alahair Village with a peak load of 1.8 MW. This design uses solar panels with a capacity of 350 Wp, arranged in arrays of 9 series and 37 parallels, connected to batteries and then connected to a DC to AC inverter. This design also uses a Boost type DC-DC Converter to increase the voltage to 400 Vdc. The Derivative Cluster Area Methods (DCAM) power optimization method was used and tested in this study. The DCAM method offers an algorithm for calculating power from the V-I characteristic curve, so this method contributes to increasing solar panel power. The DCAM method was also compared to the MPPT PNO method. This study successfully proved that the DCAM method can increase solar panel power. At a radiation of 1000W/m2, the DCAM method produces a power of 147440 Watts while the MPPT PNO produces 116405 Watts. All designs and tests were performed using MATLAB software.
