ABSTRACT
Along with the increasingly rapid development of the times, science and technology are now increasingly providing convenience in everyday life. where science and technology are widely applied with machines or electronics, so that human work can be done easily without wasting energy and can be completed in less time. Based on the background above, the author is interested in making a gate open-close drive system driven by a 3-phase cage rotor induction motor equipped with a Variable Speed Drive unit. Arduino Uno will be used to control the movement of the electric motor; Arduino Uno will open and close the gate; then, Arduino Uno will control the relay and relay work, which will be connected to the Variable Speed Drive unit to control the cage rotor 3-phase induction motor, whose speed can be determined as desired. Commands for operating the gate come from a set of push-button switches that are connected to the Arduino Uno Input section, so that the process of opening and closing the gate will be easier just by pressing these buttons.
