ABSTRACT One of the forests that does not yet have written information regarding the existence and diversity of herpetofauna is the Buluh cina Nature Tourism. Information on the presence and diversity of herpetofauna in the Buluh cina Nature Tourism is scarce. There is no previous recording and research to record the types of wild animals in this customary forest. Given the important role of wild animals in maintaining the balance of forest ecosystems, this research was conducted to provide information about the diversity of herpetofauna in the Buluh cina Nature Tourism, so that local indigenous peoples can determine appropriate steps and activities in an effort to maintain forest sustainability. This research uses data collection methods namely direct data retrieval. Direct data collection was carried out using the Visual Encounter Survey (VES) method combined with the line transect method. The TWA Buluh Cina forest ecosystem type is dominated by lowland forest and freshwater swamps. In addition to the potential for flora and fauna, Buluh Cina TWA has the potential for beautiful and attractive natural scenery of seven lakes for tourists, with a variety of activities that can be done. Buluh Cina Natural Tourism Park was born from the local wisdom of the local community where strong customs from the local community's customary institutions are still in force to protect the TWA from forest destruction. The diversity of herpetofauna species is high and can still be found in the Natural Tourism of Buluh Cina. Keywords: Herpetofauna, The diversity.
