Pengaruh Pengolahan Tanah Dan Kompos Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit (Tkks) Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Tanaman Kacang Kedelai (Glycine Max L.)
ABSTRACT
Soybean (Glycine max L.) is one of the important food commodities in Indonesia. Soybean demand continues to increase every year. Riau soybean production in 2019 was 583.5 tons and in 2021 soybean production decreased dramatically to 390.48 tons. The decline in soybean production is due to land conversion and low soil fertility. The low level of fertility in the soil can be overcome by tillage. In addition to tillage, efforts to increase the growth and production of soybean plants with the addition of compost of empty palm bunches (EPB). This study aims to determine the best treatment combination of the effect of tillage and oil palm empty fruit bunch fertilizer on the growth and yield of soybean (Glycine max L.). The research was conducted experimentally in the form of a split plot design. Main plot is the tillage system consists of 3 levels, namely No Tillage, Minimum Tillage and Maximum Tillage. Sub plot is the dose of organic matter consisting of 3 levels, namely 10 tons.ha-1 compost of EPB, 15 tons.ha-1 compost of EPB and 20 tons.ha-1 compost of EPB. Parameters observed included plant height, flowering age, harvesting age, number of pods per plant, percentage of pods, the weight of 100 seeds and weight of seeds per plant. The data obtained were analyzed statistically using analysis of variance and continued with Duncan's multiple range test at the 5% level using SAS application. The results showed that the interaction of tillage and TKKS fertilizer had a significant effect on plant height, number of pods per plant, number of seeds per plant, the weight of 100 seeds and seed weight per plant and had no significant effect on flowering age and harvest age. Based on the results of the research conducted for the growth and production of Grobogan variety soybeans, it is recommended to use maximum tillage and a dose of 20 tons.ha-1 compost of EPB.
