Implementasi Pembelajaran Berbantukan Video Analisis Tracker Pada Materi Kinematika Gerak Lurus Dalam Upaya Meningkatkan Keterampilan Multirepresentasi Siswa
We are currently in the 21st century where science and technology are experiencing rapid development and openness. Keeping up with the times, adjustments are needed by mastering complex skills. This requires education to participate in innovating in honing the skills possessed by students. In science learning, especially physics, there is integration between mathematical concepts and physics concepts which in the process requires skills in describing problems, making graphs and drawings, and working on mathematical equations. Descriptions, graphs, drawings, and mathematical equations themselves are indicators of multiple representations. However, in reality the multi-representational skills possessed by students are still relatively low and even carried over to a higher level. Therefore, proper handling is needed from each academic community to make learning not only focused on one skill, but there are various skills that can train students' multi-representational skills.
This study aims to determine students' multi-representational skills by implementing Tracker analysis video-assisted learning in straight motion kinematics material and to see an increase in students' multi-representation skills by implementing Tracker analysis video-assisted learning in straight motion kinematics material. As for the benefits that can be drawn from this research, this research is expected to be used as reference material in developing a better learning process by implementing video-assisted Tracker analysis-based learning to improve students' multi-representational skills in straight motion kinematics material. In addition, this research is expected to improve students' multi-representational skills in straight motion kinematics material through video-assisted learning Tracker and the results of this study can be used as a reference source to develop research with good aims in the development of science and technology.
This type of research is a quasi-experimental study with a posttest-only design with nonequivalent groups. The research was carried out in class X in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 academic year at SMAN 6 Pekanbaru and was carried out in July-December 2022. Data collection was carried out by giving a post test to all samples, namely the experimental class and the control class. Data
collection was carried out after the researchers completed all treatments in the form of video-assisted learning tracker for the experimental class and conventional learning for the control class. Furthermore, the data from the results of the multi-representation skills test will be analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis to see how the multi-representation skills are in the two classes and whether there are significant differences between the two.
Based on the results of the descriptive analysis, it is known that the average score of multi-representational skills in the experimental class is 7.08 higher than the control class and both classes are in the medium category. The results of the inferential analysis explained that there were significant differences in multi-representational skills between classes that applied video tracker-assisted learning (experimental class) and classes that applied conventional learning on straight motion kinematics material (control class).
Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the multi-representation skills of class X students at SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru are classified as moderate and the implementation of video-assisted learning Tracker in straight motion kinematics material can be an alternative solution to improve students' multi-representation skills in high school physics material.
