Strategi Penanganan Air Terproduksi Di Industri Minyak Dan Gas Di Lapangan SPR Langgak Mfk Blok Kabupaten Rokan Hulu
Produced water is a by-product of oil and gas processing that has different properties from normal water because it contains hazardous chemicals and other elements contained in oil and gas. Produced water is produced every day. The large amount of produced water allows it to be utilized for various purposes, such as injection to increase oil production, irrigation, and livestock farming. Utilization of produced water and disposal of produced water that has not been treated and contains many hazardous materials can disrupt the balance and threaten the environment. The characteristics of produced water must be known so that it can be treated appropriately to reduce the levels of hazardous materials present in the produced water before it is released into the environment. The foundation or value built by a company is to protect people and the environment where this value has been placed at the highest priority, an integrated and wise waste handling effort is needed to protect the sustainability of the environment. Therefore, energy companies in handling produced water must be very careful and thorough because if there is a mistake in handling produced water, it will cause problems that can harm many things.
This study aims to (1) Analyze the characteristics of produced water from its formation to its disposal in Langgak Field (2) Identify the use of produced water for daily activities in Langgak Field (3) Formulate strategies in handling produced water in Langgak Field. This study is useful to (1) provide information on the characteristics of produced water from the beginning of its formation to the disposal in Langgak Field (2) provide information on the utilization of produced water and can be used by the surrounding community. (3) help solutions or alternatives in handling produced water waste in the oil and gas industry.
To answering the objectives of this study, the first objective was analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The purpose of using this analysis is to make descriptions and images systematically, factually and accurately about facts based on existing information (Nazir, 2003). The data used in this research is laboratory data from produced water sampling results with measurements of eight parameters in accordance with the Minister of Environment Regulation No. 19 of 2010. SWOT analysis was used to develop a strategy for handling produced water in Langgak Field. By understanding the existing strengths and opportunities, it is expected to reduce or eliminate the weaknesses and threats faced.
The results of this study indicate that the water produced in the Langgak Field is utilized by the community around the Langgak Field to meet their needs

for MCK (Mandi Cuci Kakus) water, such as for bathing. Private palm oil companies located close to the Langgak field also use the water they produce as reserve water during the dry season. The strategy for handling produced production in the Langgak Field is in quadrant I because the total value of IFAS and EFAS is positive, which means that the Growth Strategy can be used.
