ABSTRACT
In the current era of globalization, we cannot be separated from technological developments. Currently, convenience and efficiency of time and energy are the main considerations for humans in carrying out activities. The results of this technological development include the application of IoT (Internet of Things) to make automatic plant sprinklers, especially for chili plants. Chili plant care generally consists of watering and fertilizing activities. However, if it is not done regularly it can cause the chili plants to wilt. The reason is that watering is not done regularly so that the water content in chili plants is reduced. The purpose of making this automatic plant sprinkler is to help maintain the water content of the chili plants. This tool uses a soil moisture sensor which functions as a soil moisture detector and sends commands to NodeMCU ESP32 to turn on the relay so that the selenoid valve can water the chilies according to the soil's needs automatically. In addition, it also uses Thingspeak as a realtime monitoring of soil moisture values. The tool can function if the soil moisture is less than 41%, and does not function if the soil moisture is above 40%.
