Analisis Kebutuhan Volume Air Pada Pengoperasian Boiler-Turbin Dalam Pembangkitan Energi Listrik
ABSTRACT
PT. Permata Citra Rangau is a crude palm oil processing company
located in Duri that adopts a steam power generation system using a boilerturbine
to produce electricity. This study aims to compare the electrical energy
results obtained through field measurements and theoretical calculations to
determine whether the power generation system is operating with optimal
efficiency. The research shows that a volume of 10,511,74 l/h of water is needed
to generate 840.03 kW of electrical power. The field data was then compared with
the theoretical data calculated manually, and the results indicate that the
performance of the boiler-turbine in generating electricity is already optimal.
This is shown by the electrical energy values produced having a very small
difference or almost the same between the field data of 7.860 kWh and the manual
calculation result of 7.900,1 kWh.
