Pengaruh Media Komik Strip Terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Teks Anekdot Siswa Kelas X SMA Al-Huda Pekanbaru
This study aims to determine the effect of comic strip media on the ability to write
anecdotal texts for Class X SMA Al-Huda Pekanbaru. This research method used an
experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group research design. This research
was conducted at Al-Huda Pekanbaru High School, with a population of 120 students in
class X. There are two sample classes, namely the experimental class and the control class.
The instruments used in this research are pretest and posttest. Data collection techniques
using tests, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using the normality test,
homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. Based on the posttest results, it was found that the
average anecdote text writing skills of students using comic strip media (experimental class)
were higher than the average anecdotal text writing skills of students taught by conventional
learning (control class). The average pretest score obtained by the experimental class was
58.70. The average pretest value for the control class was 56.40. After taking action on both
classes, the posttest average of the experimental class was 82.53 and that of the control class
was 71.87. The increase in the experimental class based on the pretest and posttest scores
was 23.83%, while in the control class it was 15.47%. Testing the hypothesis with the T test
obtained a tcount of 3.547 > ttable of 2.048, then H0 is rejected. This proves that the use of
comic strip media affects the ability to write anecdotal texts for class X SMA Al-Huda
Pekanbaru.
