Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Search, Solve, Create, And Share Dengan Virtual Lab Dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa Pada Materi Usaha Dan Energi Kelas X
The learning model is a very important factor in the learning process. A
teacher must be able to choose the right learning model so that students are interested
and interested in studying physics. To attract more students' attention, physics
teachers must choose appropriate and interesting learning strategies in conveying
physics subject matter. Learning physics is a subject that is considered difficult.
Many students experience difficulties and are less interested in studying physics. This
is because teachers in the physics learning process more often use conventional
models with lecture methods so that they can make students less interested, bored,
and difficult to understand. Overcoming these problems requires innovations in
learning physics in the form of applying learning models, methods, strategies and
using laboratory equipment to conduct experiments that can support the smooth
learning process. This innovation, namely by applying the SSCS learning model (
Search, Solve, Create, and Share ). The purpose of this study was to describe student
learning outcomes after the implementation of the SSCS learning model and to
determine the effectiveness of applying the SSCS learning model with a virtual lab in
improving student learning outcomes in class X work and energy material.
Quasiexperimental method with design nonequivalent posttest only control group
design used in this research. The subjects in this study were students of class X IPA
SMAN 12 Pekanbaru totaling 72 students. Data is collected through instruments
Posttest in the form of 20 objective questions consisting of cognitive ability levels
C1-C6. Research data were analyzed through descriptive analysis and inferential
analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis found that the average value of
students' cognitive learning outcomes in the experimental class that applied the SSCS
learning model was higher than the control class. The results of inferential analysis on
the t-test using SPSS 25 with a significance value (2-tailed) 0.002
