Penerapan Model Prediction Guide Berbantuan Media Konkrit Pada Materi Usaha Dan Energi Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Kelas X SMAN 12 Pekanbaru
The objectives of this study are 1) Describe the cognitive learning outcomes of
students who apply the concrete media-assisted prediction guide model to class X
work and energy material at SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru, and 2) to determine the
difference in student cognitive learning outcomes in classes that apply the concrete
media-assisted prediction guide model with classes that use conventional learning
on class X work and energy material at SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. The research
was conducted in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year targeting grade
X students of SMA Negeri 12 Pekanbaru. The study period is from February 2023
to April 2023. Quasi-experimental methods will be used in this study. Data
collection will be done by posttest. Descriptive analysis and inferential analysis
techniques will be used for data analysis. Experimental classes that use prediction
guide models assisted by concrete media have higher average cognitive learning
outcomes in materials, work and energy than control classes that use conventional
learning. The results showed that the application of the prediction guide model
assisted by concrete media on work and energy material can improve cognitive
learning outcomes of grade X students of SMAN 12 Pekanbaru with cognitive
learning outcomes in the very good category.
