Analisis Sistem Kendali Penyiraman Lahan Pertanian Berbasiskan Android

ABSTRACT
Indonesia is an archipelagic country with a large area of land. The vast land potential and its people who like to grow crops have made Indonesia famous for its agricultural products. Soil fertility is an important factor in plant growth, one of whichis determined by the water content in the soil. In watering plants, the volume of water given affects plant growth. Too much moisture can cause plants to rot, but too little water can cause plants to wilt or stunt their growth. To help watering plants with the right volume of water, an automatic plant sprinkler system is designed that adjust the soil moisture level. For this purpose, a plant sprinkler system has been developed that utilizes the nodemcu microcontroller and a humidity sensor to obtain soil moisture data which is then displayed on the LCD. NodeMCU is also used to monitor soil moisture which is displayed on a smartphone connected via a wifi network with thw blynk application as the user interface. The information displayed on the smartphone includes the percentage of soil moisture, soilcondition, sensor reading ADC values, ADC value graphs and a virtual button that can be used to turn on the pump manually. Bassed on sensor readings, in dry conditions, the highest percentage is 68% in dry sand media, the lowest percentage or when wet conditions are obtained a value of 22% in water media. From the results of system implementation tests, it was found that the pump turned on when the soil conditions were dry with a percentage of 39%. For testing the pump control distance via smartphone, the maximum distance that can be achieved is 12 meters.
