Analisis Jaringan Local Area Network Dengan Menggunakan Quality Of Service (Qos) Pada Taman Digital Universitas Riau

ABSTRACT
Riau University is a state higher education institution engaged in services that play an active role in educating the nation's children. Riau University has a facility called the Riau University Digital Park. The condition of the Riau University Digital Park network often experiences network interruption problems and slow internet connection problems which result in disconnection. From these problems to get good network quality, it requires improvements to network quality in order to get a more optimal network. To improve network quality, quality of service analysis is carried out in order to obtain network quality values based on quality of service parameters, namely throughput, packet loss, delay and jitter. From the analysis test it is clear that the quality of the network at the Riau University Digital Park is not optimal where the index results on the first day are 2.75 (68.75%), the index results on the second day are 2.5 (62.5%) and the third day with index 3 .25 (81.25%). The overall total index gets an average index value of 2.83 (70.75%) with an unsatisfactory category.
