Sistem Keamanan Sepeda Motor Menggunakan Teknik Pelacakan Berbasis Internet Of Things (Iot) Dengan Komunikasi Long Range (Lora)
ABSTRACT
The development of LoRa technology has become a concern among
engineers in recent years. LoRa has contributed a lot to improving technology in
terms of the internet of things. Several studies have answered that LoRa
technology is very capable of being implemented on an outdoor basis. LoRa
technology has long range, low power and secure power transmission. Bluetooth
and wifi technology has a drawback, namely the range that cannot be reached in
the electrical engineering laboratory. Distance is one of the signal strength factors
so that it becomes necessary information for motorcycle safety through the
Received Signal Strength Indication parameter. RSSI is a parameter used to
measure the quality of the signal received. RSSI is measured at the receiver when
communicating with the sender. The RSSI value is very influential from the
distance and barriers between the receiver and sender. By limiting the RSSI value
on the LoRa transmitter installed on a motorbike, it is obtained from testing the
RSSI value at the starting point position as the vehicle's position in the parking
area of the Electrical Engineering Laboratory, University of Riau. With the
results of testing the RSSI value as a position in the parking area, namely - 87
dBm, which is the worst value of the average taking the RSSI value in the parking
area. With the GPS device security module, the relay and buzzer installed on the
motorbike function properly when the RSSI value between the LoRa transmitter
and LoRa receiver exceeds -87 dBm.
