Rancang Bangun Wilkinson Power Divider Untuk Man-Pack Surveillance Radar (Mpsr) Pada Frekuensi 9,3 Ghz
ABSTRACT
Currently, Indonesia has installed 20 airborne radar points and 11 maritime radars. However, not all areas in Indonesia can be reached by this radar. With the limited number of existing radars and the large number of areas that must be monitored, a portable radar such as a man-pack radar is needed. Man-pack radar is a radar that can be used on a mobile basis and can be used in remote areas or border areas. The antenna is one of the most important parts of a radar system. The antenna system generally consists of several blocks, especially the power feed network, switch antenna, and power divider. Power divider consists of several types, including Wilkinson Power Divider, Resistive Power Divider, T-junction power divider, and Hybrid power divider. However, the most widely known is the Wilkinson power divider. In this study designed a Wilkinson power divider using the Advanced Design System (ADS) software. Based on the simulation results, the return loss value (S11) -3,5 dB at a frequency of 9,3 GHz, (S22) -26,59 dB at a frequency of 9,36 GHz, (S33) -26,39 dB at a frequency of 9,36 GHz with insertion loss (S21) -3,61 dB at a frequency of 9,33 GHz and (S31) -2,55 dB at a frequency of 9,33 GHz, then isolation (S32) -12,89 dB at a frequency of 9,3 GHz. After fabrication and measurement, the value of return loss is (S11) -28,69 dB at a frequency of 9,29 GHz, (S22) -28,5 dB at a frequency of 9,34 GHz, (S33) -28,95 dB at a frequency of 9,34 GHz with insertion loss (S21) and (S31) both are -6,31 dB Aand -7,55 dB at a frequency of 9,3 GHz, then isolation (S32) -21,89 dB at a frequency of 9,3 GHz.
