Pemanfaatan Silase Usus Ayam Sebagai Sumber Protein Pengganti Tepung Ikan Dalam Pakan Untuk Meningkatkan Pertumbuhandan Efesiensi Pakan Pada Ikan Baung (Hemibagrus Nemurus)
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this study was to find the best amount of chicken intestine silage flour in feed to increase EP (feed efficiency) and growth of baung fish fry (Hemibagrus nemurus). This experiment was conducted in July-August 2022 at the Fish Nutrition Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Riau University. The method used in this study is one factor with 5 levels of treatment and 3 replications so that 15 experimental units are needed. The treatments in this study were P0 (100% fish meal, 0% chicken intestine silage meal), P1 (75% fish meal, 25% chicken intestine silage meal), P2 (50% fish meal, 50% chicken intestine silage meal), P3 (25% fish meal, 75% chicken intestine silage meal) and P4 (0% fish meal, 100% chicken intestine silage meal). There is an effect of utilizing chicken intestine silage as a protein source to replace fishmeal in feed on feed efficiency and growth of baung fish fry (Hemibagrus nemurus). The use of 50% chicken intestine silage flour (P2) in feed is able to be utilized well by baung fish fry so that it can produce feed digestibility of 73.12%, protein digestibility of 73.93%, feed efficiency of 85.77%, protein retention of 41.86%, specific growth rate of 4.44% and survival rate of 98.7%. Temperature during the study ranged from 27-29oC, pH 6-8 and dissolved oxygen (DO) ranged from 5-5.6 ppm.
