Identifikasi Dan Uji Fitokimia Spirullina Sp. Dari Perairan Rawa Gambut Di Kabupaten Pelalawan Provinsi Riau
Abstract
Pelalawan Regency is one of the areas that has quite extensive peatlands in Riau Province, Indonesia. One of the organisms that can live and thrive in peat swamp waters is a group of microalgae. This research was conducted to determine the type and phytochemical content of microalgae which had the largest population in peat swamp waters, and to observe their growth due to the influence of different light intensity and pH in laboratory-scale culture for 10 days. This study used an experimental method with a completely randomized design, 2 factors (light and pH), with each using 3 test levels (C1 1,835 lux, C2 3,164 lux, C3 4,575 lux and degree of acidity (pH) A1 pH FTable (2.74), so that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted. Then, from the results of Duncan's advanced test, it was found that the A3C2 treatment was the treatment that had the most significant effect on the growth of Spirullina sp. (628x104 cells/mL). Then from the analysis of dry weight obtained 1.63 grams. Furthermore, from the phytochemical content test, it was found that the content of flavonoids, phenolics, and saponins indicated the potential for microalgae to be processed into a food source.
