Kontribusi Sektor Kehutanan Terhadap Potensi Ekonomi Kphp Unit Ii Pada Upt Kph Bagansiapiapi Provinsi Riau

ABSTRACT
Forest as an ecosystem unit in the forms of expanses of land containing biological
natural resources dominated by tree species, which cannot be separated from one
another. Forest is also an ecosystem of growing plants and animals that live in
layers and on the surface of the soil, which is located in an area that is in a state of
dynamic balance and requires the role of humans in maintaining and preserving it.
Forestry resources are living natural resources dominated by trees in their natural
alliance and environment, one cannot be separated from one another. Forest
resources are the products of resources originating from forest such as wood, and
there are also non timber forest products. This study aims to determine the
contribution value of the forestry sector to the economic potential of the KPHP (
Production Forest Management Unit) Unit II UPT KPH (Forest Management
Unit) Bagansiapiapi. This research was conducted at KPHP Unit II UPT KPH
Bagansiapiapi. The Sampling technique in this study was to use a purposive
sampling technique. Respondents in this study were KPHP head and staff with a
total of 4 people. The primary data in this study is from joint interviews with
respondents, and the secondary data for this research comes from the balance
sheet of forest resources for the 2019-2020. The research results show that the
economic potential of KPHP Unit II upt kph Bagansiapiapi is the potential for
vegetation cover, potential for stands, potential for non timber forest products,
presence of flora and fauna, potential for environmental service and natural
tourism. The contribution or contribution of the forestry sector to the economic
potential of the KPHP Unit II UPT KPH Bagansiapiapi is 3,4% in 2019 and 8,9%
in 2020, the rest is contributed by other factors of economic potential which are
not discussed in this study.
