Pengaruh Penyuntikan Ovaspec Dan Hcg (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Dengan Dosis Yang Berbeda Terhadap Tingkat Ovulasi Dan Daya Tetas Telur Ikan Nilem (Osteochilus Hasselti)
ABSTRACT ABSTRACT ABSTRACT This research was conducted for 30 days in February 2023 at the Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory (PPI), Faculty of Fisheries and Maritime Affairs (FPK), University of Riau. The test fish used were nilem broodstock (Osteochilus hasselti) aged 1-1.5 years and weighing between 180-400 grams per head. Using the experimental method (trial) using a completely randomized design system (CRD) with one factor and 4 treatments and 3 repetitions to minimize errors so that 12 brood fish are needed. The treatments in this stutdy were: P0 (0,9% NaCl), P1 (Ovaspec 0.6 ml/kg + hCG 350 IU), P2 (Ovaspec 0.6 ml/kg + hCG 400 IU), P3 (Ovaspec 0.6 ml/kg + hCG 450 IU). The best treatment P2 (Ovaspec 0.6 ml/kg + hCG 400 IU) and the lowest fertilization rate was in treatment in this treatment P2 (Ovaspec 0.6 ml/kg + hCG 400 IU) with a latent time of 5 hours 59 minutes, Σ THS 199 eggs/g, IOS 16,22 %, FR value 87,7%, HR value 82,10%, and SR value on the 5th day was 83,5%. The research conducted found that different injections of the Ovaspec hormone and the hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) hormone stimulated the ability to ovulate and increase egg hatchability in Osteochilus hasselti.
