ABSTRACT
This research was conducted in Hamlet 1 Bukit Taras, Delik Village, Pelalawan District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. As the purpose of this research is to find out: 1) Front stage impression processing in the use of the tiktok application.
2) Backstage life and tiktok app usage of a tiktok celebrity. Therefore, to achieve this goal, a descriptive qualitative method was used by taking 2 people as key informants and 2 people as supporting informants. This study uses a purposive sampling technique through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of a study on dramaturgical analysis on adolescent users of the tik-tok application. Judging from the impression processing on the front stage that happened to the first key informant and the second key informant, both of them showed the impression that was presented on the front stage by building trust about the character shown in the eyes of their followers by displaying glamor, humility and sociability. Judging from the life of the back stage and the use of the tiktok application that occurred in the first key informant and the second key informant, there was a difference between what he displayed on the front stage and the back stage in the reality of his life. As the two key informants used Tiktok social media according to their interests. As in the first informant, there is a desire that he uses tiktok social media to be able to make himself a place of existence and gain popularity. While the second informant has a desire to use Tiktok social media for the existence of the arena and also as a way to get rupiah coffers.
