Penerapan Model Discovery Learning Berbantuan Media Lectora Inspire Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa Pada Materi Momentum Dan Impuls Kelas X SMAN 1 Pangaribuan
The problem that is often faced by the world of education is the lack of quality or the weakness of learning activities. At present we see a lot of things from various aspects of student education, one of which is that in the process of teaching and learning activities, students learn more in theory. The low student learning outcomes are caused by several things, including physics learning which takes place less involving students in learning, in other words teacher-centered learning. Therefore the teacher encourages the role of students to be more enthusiastic in teaching in improving student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to describe and see differences in cognitive learning outcomes in experimental classes that used the lectora inspire media-assisted discovery learning model on momentum and impulse material for class X SMAN 1 Pangaribuan in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. This research method uses a Quasi experiment using a post-test only non-equivalent control group design. The research population was all students of SMAN.1 Pangaribuan class for the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 136 students. Data collection was given post-test to students after the learning process. The questions given in the experimental class and the control class were the same, then the students' answers were analyzed by calculating the number of student scores with the total score. The research data were analyzed through descriptive analysis and interference analysis, in the descriptive analysis it was found that the average value of students' cognitive learning outcomes
in the experimental class was higher than the control class which used conventional learning. In
the interference analysis, a significant value (2-tailed) is 0.000. if the significance obtained is 0.05
then ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. So, the use of the Lectora Inspire-assisted discovery learning
model on momentum and impulse material has increased students' cognitive learning outcomes.
