Implikatur Percakapan Dalam Acara Vincent And Desta Pada Youtube Vindes

The research focuses on conversational implicature, which is the study of
implicit meaning or information conveyed in conversations. The purpose of this
study is to identify implied meanings or excessive information in conversations. In
the Vincent and Desta Show, the conversations are spontaneous and unscripted. The
audience can understand the conversations if they employ a comprehensible
language order to avoid misinterpreting the information conveyed. Therefore, the
researcher conducted a study on conversational implicature. The research
questions addressed in this study are the types of conversational implicature and
the functions of conversational implicature in the dialogues of the Vincent and
Desta Show. The aim of this research is to describe the types of conversational
implicature and the functions of speech acts in the Vincent and Desta Show. The
research method employed is qualitative descriptive, and data were collected
through note-taking. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data
presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research findings revealed 20 instances
of general conversational implicature, 6 instances of scaled conversational
implicature, and 14 instances of specific conversational implicature. Additionally,
there were 12 instances of representative speech acts, 27 instances of expressive
speech acts, and 1 instance of commissive speech act.
