ABSTRACT
This Decision Support System for the Selection of Outstanding Teachers is the design of a decision support system that aims to assist decision making in the selection of outstanding teachers at the high school level using the Profile Matching method with predetermined criteria. The criteria that are considered in determining outstanding teachers are portfolio documents, teacher performance reports, best practice presentations, interviews, and written tests. The criteria used for the selection of outstanding teachers refer to data obtained from the Riau Provincial Education Office. In the process of the Profile Matching method, it is broadly a process of comparing the value of the attribute data of the profile to be assessed with the expected or ideal profile value. So that the difference in GAP competence can be known. The result of the system is in the form of a report on the results of outstanding teachers in the order of the highest to smallest ranking scores. The testing system uses blackbox testing.
