Pengawasan Jasa Layanan Parkir Di Kota Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
Supervising parking services is an activity to direct and foster parking attendants in an effort to develop and strengthen their potential in carrying out their duties as parking attendants who provide services to services users. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the supervision of parking services in the City of Pekanbaru and identify and analyze the factors that hinder the implementation of parking services in Pekanbaru. This study used affective surveillance theory according to T. Hani Handoko in authority (2020: 71) which uses 4 indicators, namely: accurate, centralized, timely and flexible. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method. With Interview data collection, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of this study show that the supervision of parking services in the City of Pekanbaru is already running but not yet effective. This can be seen from all 4 effective effective surveillance indicators: accurate, centralized, timely and flexible. Factors that hinder the implementation of parking services supervision in Pekanbaru City are: 1) Human resources factors, lack of supervision for arking attendants in perfoming their duties, 2) Factors of facilities and infrastructure, lack of adequate vehicles in the supervision of public serviceslt’s new town.
