Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Clis (Children Learning In Science) Berbantuan Phet Simulation Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa Pada Materi Usaha Dan Energi Di SMA
Physics learning aims to equip students with knowledge, understanding, and ability to develop science and technology. Teachers must have the ability to develop learning methods or models and the utilization of learning media in such a way as to attract student interest so that learning objectives can be achieved properly. In order to improve the quality of physics learning in particular, innovation is needed in the physics learning process in the form of applying learning models, methods, strategies, and utilization of technology that can support the smooth learning process. The innovation is the application of CLIS (Children Learning In Science) learning model assisted by PhET Simulation. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the application of the CLIS (Children Learning In Science) learning model assisted by PhET Simulation to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes on effort and energy material in high school. This research was conducted at MAN 2 Kuantan Singingi in the even semester of the 2023/2024 school year, namely from March to April 2023. The type of research used is quasi-experiment (pseudo-experiment). The research design used is Post-test Only Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. The sample of this study was class X students of MAN 2 Kuantan Singingi consisting of two classes, namely class X IPA 2 totaling 37 people and class X IPA 3 totaling 35 people. So, the total research sample amounted to 72 people. The experimental class is a class that gets treatment using the CLIS (Children Learning In Science) learning model assisted by PhET Simulation while the control class is a class that uses a conventional learning model. This research instrument is a posttest consisting of 20 multiple choice questions. Students are given posttest questions at the end of learning effort and energy material after applying the CLIS (Children Learning In Science) learning model assisted by PhET Simulation. After the final test, the research data were analyzed by descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The application of the CLIS (Children Learning In Science) learning model assisted by PhET Simulation in the experimental class, showed an increase in cognitive learning outcomes. This

can be seen from the increasing average value in the experimental class. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version) The average value of the experimental class of 84.32 is in the good category, while the control class has an average value of 74.14 in the good category. The difference in the average posttest score between the experimental class and the control class is 10.18. Based on this average, the application of the CLIS (Children Learning In Science) learning model assisted by PhET Simulation can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes on effort and energy material. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that, the application of CLIS (Children Learning In Science) learning model assisted by PhET Simulation can improve students' cognitive learning outcomes on the material of effort and energy at MAN 2 Kuantan Singingi. Researchers suggest to educators that in order to achieve a good learning, educators must carry out alternative learning in accordance with the learning model and the material to be delivered. Researchers realize that their abilities are very limited, so it is advisable for other researchers to continue further research on the application of the CLIS (Children Learning In Science) learning model assisted by PhET Simulation for cognitive learning outcomes or different topics.
