Implementasi Gerakan Literasi Sekolah Pada Siswa Kelas VIII SMPN 1 Bangkinang Dalam Menumbuhkan Minat Baca Siswa
This study uses a quantitative approach, the purpose of this study is to determine and
describe the effect of implementing the school literacy movement program in growing
interest in reading in class VIII SMPN 1 Bangkinang and to identify the inhibiting factors
and supporting factors in the implementation of the School Literacy Movement (GLS)
program in class VIII students of SMPN 1 Bangkinang in increasing students' interest in
reading. The test subjects in this study were class VIII students of SMPN 1 Bangkinang
with a population of 118 students and 54 students. The data in the study were obtained
from student questionnaires and interviews with teachers and school principals. This study
uses research instruments, validation tests and reliability tests. The data analysis technique
of this research uses simple linear regression, normality test and correlation coefficient
test.
