ABSTRACT
INVESTIGATOR’S SATISFACTION WITH EXPERT WITNESSES AT
BHAYANGKARA HOSPITAL IN PEKANBARU

Doctors have a duty in law enforcement in the form of medical examinations
of living or dead victims and provide information according to their expertise to
law enforcement. This study aims to obtain an in-depth description and
understanding of the quality of service at Bhayangkara Pekanbaru Hospital in
providing expert witness services to investigators who request expert witness
services. The design of this study is descriptive qualitative with data obtained using
in-depth interviews and observation. This study has a total sample of 4 people. The
results of this study indicate that the service of Expert Witnesses at Bhayangkara
Hospital has a very good quality. The five dimensions of service quality used to
understand the quality of services provided are tangible which shows very good
results, the reliability dimensions all show good results, the responsiveness
dimension has very good things, the assurance dimension having good things all
and empathy shows very good results. It is hoped that these good results can be
maintained and improved to improve cooperation between expert witnesses at
Bhayangkara Pekanbaru Hospital and investigators.
