BHAYANGKARA HOSPITAL, PEKANBARU PERIOD 2017-2021

Fornication is a criminal that violates the decency and included in the
environment of sexual lust for example kissing, touching the breasts or genitals.
One of the most frequent cases of sexual abuse is child sexual abuse because it can
cause a very serious trauma to children. Therefore, special examinations are
carried out, such as anamnesis, physical examination, gynecological examination,
and supporting examinations for valid evidence of a crime. This study aims to
determine the profile of cases of child molestation victims at Bhayangkara
Hospital Pekanbaru for the 2017-2021 period. Data obtained from Visum et
Repertum. The results of the study obtained 145 cases. With the highest number of
cases in 2019 (24.8%). The characteristics of the victims were dominated by
women (95.2%) with the highest age range being 10-18 years (44.1%). The most
common type of sexual abuse experienced by victims was inserting fingers or other
objects into the genitalia (51.7%). The profile of the most perpetrators came from
close people who were not related by blood or family (73.8%).
