Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem Solving Dengan Pendekatan Kontekstual Pada Materi Tekanan Zat Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kognitif Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 11 Pekanbaru
This study aims to describe the Improvement of Students' Cognitive
Learning Outcomes after applying the Problem Solving Learning Model with a
Contextual Approach and to compare it with Conventional Learning which is
applied in Class VIII of SMP Negeri 11 Pekanbaru. This research uses Intact Group
Comparison research. The population in this study included all eighth grade
students of SMP Negeri 11 Pekanbaru which were divided into 5 classes which were
then randomly selected 2 classes. The results of the descriptive study show that the
experimental group has a higher mean score of cognitive learning outcomes than
the control group. While inferentially using the Independent Sample T-Test
obtained a significance value or Sig (2-tailed)
