Soebrantas KM. 12.5 Simpang Baru Pekanbaru 28293 Tel/Fax. 0761-63277 ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of public perceptions of Covid -19 and the benefits of the Covid -19 vaccine on the Covid-19 vaccine policy in the people of Aur Sati Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency. This research uses quantitative research methods. Data collection was carried out by using a questionnaire, with a sample of 100 people from villages in the Tambang sub-district, Kampar Regency. Data were processed using multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS 23 program. In this study, Federick's theory was used, policy is a series of actions/activities proposed by a person, group or government in a certain environment where there are obstacles (difficulties) and opportunities. opportunity for the implementation of the proposed policy in order to achieve certain goals. The results of the study found that respondents' responses regarding public perceptions of Covid-19, namely the first majority 68% of respondents agreed with the belief that Covid-19 was contagious, the second majority 59% of respondents believed that Covid-19 existed. It can be concluded that the Aur Sati community has the perception that Covid-19 exists. Respondents' responses regarding public perceptions of the benefits of the covid-19 vaccine, namely the first majority 71% of respondents agreed on support for the government to provide the covid-19 vaccine in stages, the second majority 70% of respondents believed that the government program to provide the covid-19 vaccine supports the health of many people . It can be concluded that the Aur Sati community has the perception that the benefits of the Covid-19 vaccine exist. Respondents' responses regarding public perceptions of the Covid-19 vaccination policy, the first majority 78% of respondents agreed that there was a need for Covid-19 vaccination to prevent contracting Covid-19 disease, the second majority 74% of respondents agreed with the government's policy to be vaccinated against Covid-19. It can be concluded that the Aur Sati community has the perception that they agree with the government's vaccination policy. While the results of statistical tests show that there is an influence on public perceptions of Covid -19 and the benefits of the Covid -19 vaccine on the Covid-19 vaccine policy. Then there is a relationship between public perceptions of the benefits of the co-19 vaccine and the implementation of the co-19 vaccination policy.
