New Pekanbaru 28293 The village as a unit of society has wealth or village assets whose management must be carried out to improve the welfare and standard of living of the village community and increase village income. One of the village assets that can be controlled and managed by the Village Government is village treasury land. The problems in this study aim to determine the management of village treasury land in Muara Mahat Baru Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency in 2020 and find out the inhibiting factors in managing village treasury land in Muara Mahat Baru Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency 2020. This research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive type . This study found that the management of village treasury land in Muara Mahat Baru Village, Tapung Subdistrict, was still not going well, because some of the proceeds were used for personal gain by irresponsible elements by cultivating palm oil from village treasury land, as well as oil palm plantations that poorly maintained so that the management of village treasury land in the form of village gardens was taken over by the names concerned in the land certificates. This causes the village to experience a decrease in income from the village treasury land to finance village needs and the needs of the general public. The inhibiting factor for not optimal management of village treasury land in Muara Mahat Baru Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency, namely: lack of supervision. The conclusion is that planning, organizing, implementing and supervising village treasury land in Muara Mahat Baru Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency is still not going well. The inhibiting factor in managing village treasury land is the lack of supervision. Which can hamper the welfare of the community and hinder village development.
