ABSTRACK
The purpose of this study is (1) Determine the yield of essential oils from the long storage of leaves and twigs of red shoots (Syzygium myrtifolium) that have been produced. (2) Knowing the quality of essential oil from the long storage of leaves and twigs of red shoots (Syzygium myrtifolium) that have been produced. The research method used Complete Randomized Design (RAL) with 2 treatments. Observational Analysis i.e. Essential Oil Yield and Essential Oil Quality Based on Odor Test, Color Test and Solubility in Ethanol. Research Results The yield of essential oil from the leaves and twigs of red shoots (Syzygium myrtifolium) produced ranged from 0.0078% to 0.0228%. Essential oil quality based on odor test, color test and solubility in ethanol from 12 treatments in accordance with SNI clove leaves.
