Analisis Kelayakan Finansial Usaha Tani Nanas Di DesaRimbo Panjang Kecamatan Tambang Kabupaten Kampar
ABSTRACT
Farmer’s income is influenced by production costs, product prices, and production
quantities. Fluctuations in these three variables, as well as the lack of formal farm
business analysis, necessitate a study on the financial feasibility of pineapple
farming to determine the prospects of pineapple agribusiness. This research aims to
analyze the income, financial feasibility, and sensitivity of pineapple farming to
changes in fertilizer prices, production quantities, and pineapple selling prices. The
research was conducted in Rimbo Panjang Village, Tambang Subdistrict, Kampar
District, from March 2023 to July 2023. The samples were selected using purposive
sampling technique with the criteria that pineapple plants at least two years old and
the farming land area at least one hectare. The sample size were 10 samples.
Primary data is obtained through surveys and interviews with respondents, while
secondary data is obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics and other official
institutions. The first objective of the research was analyzed by calculating farming
costs and revenues. The second and third objectives were analyzed based on the
investment criteria over a 10-year project period. The research results showed that
the income from pineapple farming was greater than the total costs, resulting in a
net profit of farm income. The financial feasibility of pineapple farming shows a
positive Net Present Value, a high Internal Rate of Return value compared to the
interest rate, and a Net Benefit Cost Ratio value greater than one. Pineapple farming
is feasible even after changes in fertilizer prices, production quantities, and
pineapple selling prices.
